With just about everyone having mobile phones with good cameras more and more people are capturing amazing things and uploading them for the rest of the world to see. Isn’t CSS great. When you first learn about the powers of CSS you feel so empowered. Anything seems possible and everything is great. But that sensation can only last so long. Your markup looks so much cleaner using CSS and it makes styling your website much easier. However, since I past that honeymoon period of using CSS I have wished it could do more.

Battlestar Galactica, Thoughts & Relections

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in my blog post about my TV show marathon I am currently on Battlestar Galactica. Yesterday I finished watching the actual series. I can’t get across how much I enjoyed watching BSG again. My first watch through of BSG didn’t go as well. I got to around half way through season 3 and stopped, I think because I went on holiday and came back with no motivation to watch it. Like every good TV show there are slow parts or irritating parts and I think I was in one of them at the time.

Knowing about uncontacted tribes facinates me

I can’t explain easily why something draws me to wanting to know more about these tribes. Before I try to put into words what is going on in my head I want to explain a little more about them. Uncontacted tribes are communities of people they have had no physical contact with the world as we know it. There are about 100 of known uncontacted tribes in the world, some of which are hostile to outsiders and some just hide when confronted. The majority of these tribes range in population from 50 to 300 people, obviously these figures are best guess as there is no way we could monitor them so precisely without contact.
